Dental implant in Morocco (Nador) for the diaspora: process, stay and budget
· Dr. Imad Al Morabit
Placing a dental implant during your stay in Nador can be planned well, as long as you think in two stages: first the implant placement, then, after healing (osseointegration), the abutment and crown. With a first remote assessment by WhatsApp, you know before you travel what is feasible across one or two trips. On budget, we work with a free, transparent quote after assessment, without posting a fixed figure on this page.
Why plan your implants during a stay in Nador?
Many patients from the Moroccan diaspora in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France or Spain want their dental care done back home, during a trip they are planning anyway. For a dental implant this is entirely possible, provided you factor in one medical reality: an implant needs time to fuse with the bone. This healing, the osseointegration, cannot be rushed.
In practice, the treatment is often spread across two stays, or a single longer stay when clinically justified. We are a dental practice in Nador with an integrated digital laboratory, where the prosthesis (the crown or bridge) is designed and made on site. That shortens planning and makes communication more direct.
We do not promise a miracle solution in a day. We honestly explain what is feasible in your case, so you can set your flights and your time off around the real treatment timeline, not around a sales pitch.
The process step by step: placement, healing, crown
Treatment starts with an examination and a 3D X-ray to assess the volume and quality of your jawbone. From there we plan the implant position digitally. In the first phase, the implant, a titanium screw, is placed in the jawbone. We work with Biotech Kontact implants, a French brand.
Then comes the healing period during which the implant integrates with the bone. Depending on your situation, this usually takes a few months. This osseointegration is the key to a stable, long-lasting result and cannot be skipped. During this period you return to Europe; remote follow-up by photos remains possible.
In the second phase, on a later stay, we fit the abutment (the connecting part) and the final crown, custom-made in our own laboratory. For those who have lost several teeth or a full arch, there are solutions such as All-on-4 or All-on-6, where a complete fixed arch rests on four or six implants. In certain cases a fixed temporary bridge can be placed earlier; whether that is possible for you depends on the assessment.
How long is the stay and how does the remote assessment work?
For the first phase, a short stay of a few days is usually enough: examination, planning and implant placement. The rest time and check-ups needed are discussed in advance, so nothing disrupts your trip by surprise.
To help you plan before you leave, we provide a first remote estimate. You send us a few clear photos of your mouth via WhatsApp and, if you have one, a recent X-ray. From there we give a first, provisional estimate of what is feasible and how we would spread the phases across your trips.
Note: a remote assessment never replaces an in-person clinical examination. It is meant to plan your stay realistically, not to make a final diagnosis from a distance. The final decision always follows an examination at the practice in Nador.
The budget: a free, transparent quote, no fixed figure here
You rightly want to know what an implant costs. Honest answer: we do not post a set figure on a web page, because the price depends on your real situation. The number of implants, the possible need for a bone graft, the type of prosthesis and whether it is a single tooth or a full arch together determine the quote.
That is why we offer a free consultation and a transparent quote after assessment. You receive a clear summary of the proposed treatment and the associated costs, with no hidden items. You then compare on the basis of your real case, not a teaser price.
For your overall budget, also count the trip. As diaspora, you travel home anyway, so the journey is not an extra expense to attribute to the teeth alone. That makes treatment in Nador logistically and financially sensible for many.
Frequently asked questions
Can a dental implant be fully completed in a single stay in Nador?
Usually not entirely. The implant needs time to fuse with the bone (osseointegration), generally a few months. The treatment is therefore often spread across two stays: placement first, then the crown. In certain cases a fixed temporary bridge can be placed earlier, but that depends on the clinical assessment. We do not promise a complete result in a day.
Which implants do you use?
We work with Biotech Kontact implants, a French brand. The final crown or bridge is designed and made in our integrated digital laboratory in Nador, keeping the design, fit and follow-up in house.
How much does a dental implant cost at your practice?
We do not post a fixed figure on this page, because the price depends on your situation: number of implants, possible bone graft, type of prosthesis, a single tooth or a full arch. After a free assessment, you receive a transparent quote with no hidden costs. Send us photos via WhatsApp for a first, provisional estimate.
