Implants

What is All-on-4 and how does full arch implant reconstruction work?

All-on-4, sometimes called a full arch reconstruction, is a treatment designed for patients who are missing most or all of their teeth in one or both jaws, or whose remaining teeth cannot be saved. Instead of placing one implant per tooth, the technique uses four to six precisely angled implants to support an entire fixed arch of teeth.

The angling of the posterior implants is deliberate. It allows them to engage more bone volume and often avoids the need for extensive bone grafting, even in patients who have experienced some bone loss after long-standing tooth loss. This makes full arch treatment accessible to a wider range of patients than conventional individual implants.

The prosthesis attached to the implants is fixed. Unlike a removable denture, it stays in your mouth permanently and functions like natural teeth. You eat, speak, and smile without any of the insecurity associated with removable devices. Cleaning is done around the fixed bridge rather than by removing it.

At our clinic, full arch reconstruction is one of our three core services alongside Hollywood Smile and clear aligners. We use German and Japanese materials and plan the entire treatment digitally before any surgery takes place, so you can see and approve the projected outcome first. Planning is also structured around the number of trips you can make from Europe.
