How many trips to Morocco do I need to complete my implant treatment if I live in Europe?
For patients living in Europe, the question of how many trips are needed is just as important as the clinical one. A single implant in a patient with adequate bone typically requires two main visits. The first is for the implant placement and any immediate preparatory work. The second, two to four months later depending on healing, is for fitting the final crown. Between those two trips, you return home and we stay connected remotely.
When a bone graft is needed before the implant can be placed, a third trip is usually added to the sequence: one for the graft, one for the implant placement once the graft has healed, and one for the final crown. In some situations, the graft and implant can be done in the same session, which reduces the total number of trips.
Full arch reconstruction follows a similar multi-phase model. The initial surgical session is more involved and may be followed by a temporary fixed prosthesis while osseointegration progresses. The final permanent prosthesis is fitted in a subsequent visit. We design the timeline so that each trip is purposeful and as productive as possible.
We map all of this out at the planning stage and give you a written schedule. You leave your first consultation knowing the approximate dates and duration of each visit so you can organise your leave and travel in advance. Between visits, we monitor your progress through photos and video calls, and we are available by WhatsApp for any questions.
